USPS® Rolls Out Innovative Parcel Enhancements

The U.S. Postal Service introduced eight new innovations that will help shippers think outside (and inside) of the box to make parcels more appealing to their recipients. The U.S. Postal Service Office of Inspector General (OIG) noted that the plain cardboard box is a missed marketing opportunity for shippers. So, features for both the outside and inside of the box itself have been introduced to leverage that valuable real estate and provide a more memorable delivery and package experience.

The Postal Service could be the first to make these innovations widely accessible, with a wide breadth of options that encompass design elements or integrated technology outside the box, add-on mail campaigns inside the box, or even coordinated campaigns that use both mail and parcel design.
